Fictional world is filled with unique characters and so is the bulging eyed creature with protruding tongue created by Toronto born artist Tau Lewis. The beautiful pastel coloured fabric turns the place into an imaginary alien world. The characters created by Lewis are oversized and have floral tendrils filling the space which gives a lavish appearance to the place. The materials required for her patchwork creations are collected from Toronto, New York and her home in Negril, Jamaica. She uses various recycled and hand dyed fabrics, recycled leather, cotton batting, beads acrylic paint, metal hoop skirt,sea shells, wire and PVA glue to create these funny oversized creations.
