The Idea of bringing pop culture characters into the scenery of the existing parisian monument sparked Benoit Lapray when he was taking a walk in the streets of Paris. It took 2 years for him to realise his dream. The project was done in collaboration with the studio 95 Magenta and graphic designer Emmanuelle Vonck Lugand, who worked on the CGI elements and integration of photographs. Benoit has raised the cult characters from pop culture to "Monuments". According to him these heroes of fiction are part of the world's heritage. These modern monuments aim to make us understand the significance of these characters in contemporary culture. Benoit glorifies the cultural heritage of Paris with his pop culture monuments along with its architecture and museums.
